History VU Boekhandel, founded in 1967 by Pier Rienk Rienks was the first campus bookstore in The Netherlands. After more than 50 years, it's still run as a family business. We sell textbooks and course materials to the students of the Vrije Universiteit, ACTA and other educational institutions across the country. As a major academic bookstore we provide books, periodicals and subscriptions to businesses, libraries and institutions. With our own team of accountmanagers and information specialists we deliver every book or periodical on your desk of bookshelf. With 40 booksellers, we are among the biggest bookshops in the region.
