Comparing the various practices that measure and study crime in Europe, this study on victimization and insecurity surveys the successes and shortcomings of different practice zones in Europe. Combining data from the Netherlands, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Portugal, it provides information for public policy and crime prevention.
