This collection of supernatural tales will appeal to all lovers of the genre, and is not to be missed by collectors of vintage ghost stories and related work. Emily Dorothy Scarborough (1878 – 1935) was an American writer famous for her work related to Texas, folk culture, cotton farming, ghost stories and women's life in the Southwest. Other notable works by this author include: “Fugitive Verses” (1912), “From a Southern Porch” (1919), and “The Wind” (1925). Many vintage books such as this are increasingly scarce and expensive.
