The Functional Analysis of Politics (1967) discusses the feasibility of looking at political activities as constituting a âsystemâ and of the concepts of âstructuresâ and âfunctionsâ as general categories of political activities. As well as expounding and criticising structural-function analysis, it applies it to political institutions, groups, and the notion of political development.
