My Beautiful Flower is the story of Jean Murray's battle with depression seen through the eyes and experiences of her family and in particular her daughter, Yasmin. In caring for her child, in ensuring that she is secure, she in turn cares for herself and steers her family into a strong and loving future in contemporary Ireland.
